MY MAKEUP STYLE
I specialise in creating soft and natural bridal makeup. Think polished, sophisticated and enhanced rather than full insta-glam. My aim is to accentuate the features that you already have and to create an enhanced version of yourself so that you look and feel your most beautiful. I understand that my style may not be for everyone and whilst I love a bolder style, if I feel that I can't fulfil your style request to my full potential, I will happily guide you to another artist who can! Again, this is why trials take place before your special day.
MY APPROACH
On your wedding day, think of me as another friend to get ready with. Described as very down to earth and bubbly by past clients and friends. I’m telling you this because I am one of the suppliers that you will be spending the whole morning with and its important that you feel comfortable with me!
The Preview
The preview is one of the most important parts in creating your dream bridal makeup. Bridal previews are mandatory to ensure that you are 100% happy and that the makeup wears perfectly on your skin.
Preveiws take place 6-8 weeks before the date of your wedding, usually in the comfort of your own home. This is an opportunity for us to explore your vision for the big day. This includes your chosen colours, theme and wedding dress. It is my aim to make you look like an enhanced version of yourself and not a completely different person. If you are not entirely sure on which look you would like, we will talk this through at the trial too. This is also for me to answer any questions that you may have and for us to discuss timings for the day.
The Wedding Day
On the morning of your wedding, I will arrive at your chosen venue slightly earlier to ensure that everything is set up ready for the first person to have makeup. Two weeks before your wedding day, I will send over your final invoice and a schedule of timings for my arrival and when each bridal party member is needed to keep your mind at ease. Your schedule will include time in between each person for cleaning brushes and my kit.
I allow myself 45 minutes per person to complete a full face of makeup, depending on your chosen makeup style - although this usually isn't needed.
I will stay up until the very moment you and your party leave for the ceremony for any last-minute touch-ups. I also offer a stay-on location service for those wanting touch-ups for their bridal party after the ceremony: perfecting the kissed-off lipstick, concealing any happy tears and powdering where necessary.
All bridal party members will receive a touch-up kit consisting of of a lipstick pot with their shade, disposable lip wand, tik tak mints, eco straw. The Bride will receive: Pot of lipstick, disposable lip wand, x2 oil control sheets, an eco straw, tik tak mints.
Extra Information
Please note that if you have a large bridal party, this may be an early start for hair and makeup on the day of your wedding depending on the ceremony time and is usually the case. Please ensure that your venue is ok for an early start as sometimes it may be the case of starting at a different location until the wedding venue opens.
I will require an additional makeup artist in some cases where we are short on time however I will be the lead makeup artist and will be making up the Bride. This will be discussed with you at the time of booking.
*** I travel up to 15 miles from the DY8 postcode without any further cost. If further travel is required, it will be worked out at 0.45p per extra mile and will be added to your quote.***

Fill out your details on my enquiry form and receive a quick response from me with availability and any other information I think you may want to know, including my brochure.
By this point, you will have gathered inspiration pictures from my portfolio to show at your trial. Using all aspects of your wedding (colours, themes, inspo pictures), we will work together to create your dream bridal makeup look.
If you feel that we'd be a perfect fit (yay!), all you need to do is accept the quote, sign your t&cs and pay the £50.00 deposit. Its that simple!
Two weeks before your big day, I will send over the timing schedule for my arrival and when each person will be needed in my chair to keep everybody on the same page and help the morning work like clockwork.
I will schedule you in for your bridal trial which is usually 8+ weeks before your wedding date. Along with your confirmation, I will send my 'Glowing Bride Skincare Guide' PDF across to you so that you can start working on getting a skincare routine nailed before the big day.
Your special day is here! I will be with you up until the very moment you leave for the wedding ceremony and will be doing makeup touch-ups until you go. I only take one wedding booking per day, so I am exclusively yours until you no longer need me that morning.
